Orthognathic surgery

The orthodontic patients are sometimes prepared to a procedure that is called an orthognatic surgery. It can be described as a surgery to correct jaw relationships. The main goals of this surgery are:
  • improving appearance of the face and teeth
  • correcting relationships between the upper and lower jaws
  • improving the ability to talk and eat by correcting the relationships between the teeth in the upper and lower jaws
