Snoring
Snoring is a phenomenon of sound that is created by vibration when air runs through a narrowed trachea, It is a social issue and the snoring person is not harmed by it.
We offer help to people who not just snore, but also become short of breath during sleep which is often a serious medical problem. This phenomenon is explained by the Bernoulli'sprinciple which states that the streamline is faster if the air pressure is smaller.
If you take a tube made of a soft material (for example rubber) and try to breathe in quickly through it, the tube will flatten. The situation in the trachea is similar. When we are awake, the tension in the muscles keeps it open, but when we are asleep, the trachea flattens because of the pressure coming from the tissue around it and snoring occurs. When the trachea narrows even more, the streamline becomes faster and the trachea starts to block entirely.
